Background about the Logo

In 2025, the Foothill‑De Anza Community College District completed a comprehensive brand refresh, the first in more than two decades, to modernize its visual identity. The updated brand reflects a cleaner, more contemporary look that aligns with the District’s location in the heart of Silicon Valley and its culture of innovation. Our updated logo reimagines historical elements with a more modern presentation.

Guidelines for Using the Current Logo

Following the basic guidelines listed below will ensure that each visual impression of the District is consistent and professional.

Gradient logo: Primary option for digital materials (PowerPoint covers, PDFs, Zoom backgrounds). Use on clean, high-contrast backgrounds.

Right-click on the images and select “Save image as…” to download them for use.

Black logo: Use for Word documents, letterhead, and board-related materials, especially when printing or when color use should be minimal.

White logo: Use on dark backgrounds or photography where the logo needs to reverse out.

Horizontal logo: Default and preferred whenever space allows.

Below are the only acceptable versions of the Foothill-De Anza Community College logo for either print or digital purposes.

File types

PNG or SVG: For PowerPoint, Word, and other digital materials.

PDF: For documents intended for printing or vendor use.

EPS: Only if requested by a professional printer or designer.

No recoloring, distortion, or effects. Please use the files as provided.
